The house has had some progress indoors. We are excited to see all of our colors and other choices come together. Sometimes, Kyle and I say, "what were we thinking?" But we haven't made any changes yet, hoping that it will all come together eventually and we will realize we did just fine. We are getting so excited that we have started packing already. If we keep this up we will be living out of boxes for months.

Update on Kaden
Just a little update on Kaden's football game. The whole team played such a good game and they won 24 to 12. We played Everett which is the town right next to us and our rivals. Kaden had a particularly good game on defense. He had three quarterback sacs. Two other very important tackles that resulted in forced fumbles. On one of the fumbles, Kaden's team mate picked up the ball and ran it back for a touch down! It was a really fun game. Afterwards, the boys tried to chase down the coach and dump the gaterade bowel on him but the coach got the best of them. Kaden is number 80 on the blue and white team.
Khale is learning to color. She had these toddler crayola crayons that she can hold in her hands. Luckily for us, they are washable as it seems more fun to color her skin and everything around her instead of the paper. My little artist.

Khale's new words
Khale has been picking up words a little at a time and I can't believe her vocabulary. Of course, Kaden and Karson read to her constantly. Lately she has been trying really hard to communicate to us but the most fun was in the car last night when she wouldn't get in without her fake guitar. As we were driving to pick up Karson from gymnastics, Khale gave us an impromptu performance. She played the guitar and sang a song about all of her favorite things in life. It went something like this..."we, we, we,bahlah (brother), we, we, we, sissy, we, we, we, pizza, we, we, barney" and so on and so forth. What surprised me the most was the fact she was strumming the guitar and actually singing the words. The kids and I laughed so hard. I can't believe how quickly my little baby has grown. It goes so fast.

Khale took a spill

Khale fell from the top of our concrete steps to the bottom. She has a little road rash but doesn't seem any worse for the wear. So very little can slow that girl down.
We had to show everyone Khales favorite food. Who would have thought that she loves corn on the cob. She will knaw on an ear until it is down to the nub. Funny girl.

Cheerleading and Football
Kaden had his first football game today. He did a really good job and got a few sacs on defense. It was a super hot day so they broke in their uniforms, smelly boys, peeyew! Kade even played a little offense when he hasn't practiced at all. It was a fun game to watch but we lost by a touchdown.
Karson has been going to a cheerleading clinic and got to cheer at the Pep Rally for the High School right after Kaden's game. She was so cute. It was a fun day for the Ellingsons.

Boring weekend!

We had the most boring Labor Day weekend. We cleaned out the house and packed a few things and sat around doing nothing. Sometimes it gets a little frustrating being out here in the middle of nowhere! I hope everyone else had a much better weekend.
Karson and I did go see Mama Mia. We liked it. Singing and Dancing....what's not to like?
Karson said I didn't have enough pictures of the baby posted so I added a few :)
