Thanks Grandma Karma

Kaden and Karson wanted to say, "Thank You, Grandma Karma!" for the great back to school gifts you sent. It was super nice of you. We appreciate you remembering us when you have so many other things going on. The clothes fit great and we couldn't wait to wear them to school, as you can see what we both wore to school today. Love you grandma.

Back to School

The kids went back to school today. It was very sad for Khale and for Mommy, as well. We are definately going to be bored with them at school all day. But they were very excited!

Lilly

Also while we were in Lancaster, we stood in line for seven hours so that Karson could get an Emily Osment (Lilly on Hannah Montana) autograph. We were about the 520th autograph to be signed by Emily. I know this because we were 20th or so in the general line and we were behind the VIP line of 500 people. I would venture to say there were about 2000 screaming girls in line. It was crazy! But Karson loves me and I was happy to be "the best Mom in the whole world" if only for a few hours. We had a great bonding time.

Renaissance Fair

We had such a great time last weekend that I just has to send some shots out to share with everyone. It seemed like there was a photo op at every corner. I We can't wait to go back next year. The Renaissance fair was my favorite. Khale was a big hit with the men as we walked around the fair. Kaden was also a big hit with the tavern wenches :) he had one follow him around and try and poke him with her "love dagger." Karson loved the "dragons" that were riding on the shoulders of some of the characters. Karson met the Queen and Kaden was very embarrassed during the middle of a show as Shakespeare had to give him a lesson in addressing the Queen of England. Kyle won the Gong game. All in all it was such a great time.

Our first try

A friend of ours created a family blog and I really liked it as a way to stay in contact with family and friends. I decided to give it a try. This way I can keep everyone informed without filling your in-boxes with pictures of our events.
