Look what we did!

Kyle and I installed pendant lights in our new kitchen. We don't have electrician skills so we were extremely proud of ourselves. We had to share our new lights and how the kitchen is coming together.

Also our drapes we hung in our bedroom a few weeks ago. We found these beaded drapes at Penny's and just fell in love with them. They turned out super cute. As soon as I get the room all together, I will send more pics. If you interested. But pretty much you get them even if your not interested. LOL

Punxsutawney

Last weekend my Mom came to visit and we went to Punxsutawney, as in Phil, Groundhog Day! I have been wanting to make it up there and almost went on Groundhog day last year until I heard about the crowds. Anyway, we had a really fun visit with my Mom, and Russ and Reggie and his family. Reggie's kids are super cute. I can't believe that was the first time I have ever seen them. Khale still asks to see Calin again. It was a very nice visit. Next time they will have to come out and stay at our house.

Mom and Russ did stay at our house for one day and they seemed to like the house. I loved having visitors soooooo everyone, come and see us.

Halloween 2008

Happy Halloween! This was a very strange Halloween as we were trying to get moved and out of the rental house. We had two days after we signed on the house to be out of the rental and Halloween was one of those days. But we took time off to go to the Halloween parade in Town and we went Trick-or-treating. Kaden was a werewolf, Karson was a goth mummy bride, and Khale of course, was Elmo. They had tons of fun. It didn't take Khale long to get the hang of the whole thing. "I smile and say treat, treat and they give me candy." They threw candy at the parade so she got a taste of the holiday before trick or treating night. Mady.....look at our favorite float.
